If you are considering a heat pump upgrade, there are benefits to going through Heat Geek, rather than going straight to a Heat Geek on our map.
Firstly, we are committed to empowering our Heat Geeks to decarbonise your home and save money every month. If you choose to engage directly with a Heat Geek, we're very happy! However, it's important to note that individual Heat Geeks may not be MCS registered and therefore unable to help you access the £7500 government grant toward your installation. For those that aren't MCS registered, we act as an MCS 'umbrella' for them, giving you access to the £7500 grant.
Even if your Heat Geek is MCS registered, they may still choose to use our MCS umbrella service as it gives access to our tooling and vastly reduces the amount of paperwork they have to complete, at no extra cost to you.
If you do choose to complete your installation through the Heat Geek platform, you will additionally receive the following benefits:
- The Heat Geek Performance Guarantee assures your installation will AT MINIMUM meet the efficiency stated in your system proposal. The installation will be remotely monitored and if it comes short of this efficiency, or unable get your home up to temperature on the coldest days of the year, we will upgrade your system as necessary completely free of charge.
- The Heat Geek Installation Guarantee gives you assurance and peace of mind that if there are any unintended issues with your Heat Geek, such as sickness, or anything that means your Heat Geek cannot complete the job, we will send another vetted Heat Geek, trained to the same highest standards and adhering to the same code of conduct, to finish the job exactly as per the proposal, and maintain our performance guarantee.
- Heat Geek digital tooling and system design: We have developed in-house digital tooling that measures your home and calculates the best solution. As we monitor all our installations and continually analyse the data, this system is ever improving and will be used to make on-going suggestions to improve your system performance and save energy.
