About Heat Pumps
Planning permission
If you require planning permission, you will need to apply for planning via your local authority's planning portal. You are likely to need architectural drawings of where the heat pump will go and information about the specific unit from your design, including it's dimensions and sound power output.
Decisions typically take 8 weeks to receive a response but can vary by region and depending on the complexity of your project. If you have any questions during the process we can assist but unfortunately only the homeowner can make the application.
