About Heat Pumps
I'm doing renovations and considering a heat pump. What do I need to think about?
If you're upgrading your home and considering a heat pump, there are a few things to think about:
Planning: If you're applying for planning permission, include a heat pump to save multiple applications.
Ground works: If you can't place your heat pump close to your home, or there are rooms between your heat pump and cylinder that you don't want to run pipework through, you can bury it at this stage.
Electrical: While you're having electrical work done, your electrician can hide cabling and make provisions for your heat pump to ensure it's discreet and suits your design requirements.
Every project is different, so for specific advice, we strongly suggest a design consultation with a Heat Geek who has completed our multi award-winning training.
