About Heat Pumps
I have an EV charger. I'm now looking to get a heat pump. Is there anything specific that I need to do?
Not really, when you got an EV charger your Installer would have checked that the power supply coming to your home was sufficient for additional load of the EV charger. Your Heat Geek will perform a similar exercise to determine the load that the heat pump selected in your design will add to your home.
- You may need your incoming fuse upgraded which can usually be performed for free by your power network operator.
- If you have a load over a certain threshold we may need to apply to the network operator to let them know that there will more pull on the network from your home but we'll take care of that.
