About Heat Pumps
Are you able to mount my heat pump on a wall?
Yes, in some cases, a heat pump can be mounted on the wall using wall brackets, depending on the location. Heat pumps are very heavy pieces of equipment and therefore can only be mounted on solid walls. Also, depending on where you are having this mounted, additional equipment may be required to lift it into place, and therefore could incur an additional cost.
It's important to note that your heat pump will need to be accessed for servicing purposes, so when mounting it on the wall, consider positioning it in an accessible space.
You can discuss the position and mounting of your heat pump directly with your Heat Geek during your Design Consultation.
