About Heat Pumps
Are larger heat pumps less efficient than the smaller ones?
If your home requires a larger heat pump, it can actually be more efficient than smaller heat pumps.
However, an oversized heat pump (i.e. one that is larger than necessary to heat your home) will not perform optimally and will lower the overall efficiency of the system. It will also cost more to install.
- A Heat Geek will help you determine the right size heat pump for your home during your Design Consultation.
- They will also work with you to determine the best overall efficiency for your system, taking into account your budget and specific requirements.
- All Heat Geek systems are remotely monitored, so we can easily tell if a system is not performing as it should.
- This is backed up by our unique Heat Geek Performance Guarantee, which promises that our systems will perform as we say they will, giving you even more peace of mind.
